Tonight! Museum Park Night At Miller Outdoor Theatre

Our Third Annual Museum Park Night at Miller Outdoor Theatre is scheduled for Saturday, October 26.  The evening will begin at 6:00 pm with wine and nibbles in the Bosque reception area located north of the pavilion--look for the Museum Park Banner.   

 

After the reception, tickets for the seated area will be available for the performance:  A special tribute program to Ella Fitzgerald  will present many of Ella's original big band arrangements performed by the Smithsonian Jazz Masterworks Orchestra and featuring international vocalist Delores King Williams.
 

The repertoire centers on a special moment in American history by pulling original arrangements done for Ella in the 1940-1950s from the Smithsonian and Ella Fitzgerald Charitable Foundation archives, arrangements not heard by live audiences in over 40 years.
